My favorite ‘Saturday Night Live’ sketches from Season 44

I often hear that “Saturday Night Light isn’t funny anymore,” which feels like a criticism that’s been leveled against it since Chevy Chase left. As one might expect with a show whose cast and staff are constantly changing, SNL goes through cycles, and I have remained an avid fan.

There was plenty to love this past season, which wrapped earlier this month with Paul Rudd and DJ Khaled. This season also featured Jonah Hill joining the vaunted “Five-Timers Club” for hosts, Halsey doing double duty, and the return of Adam Sandler after 24 years.
